Hello, I'm Vernisa the founder of Eighteenth Juniper Candle Co. Homemaker, wife, and mom to three kids (15, 13, 11). My candle obsession (as my family like to tease), started many years ago when our kids were very young. The evenings would wrap up with my husband tucking them in while i quickly tidied, welcoming the winding down of the day with a cup of tea and the dancing view of my beautiful candle flame.

What began as an outlet to create a peaceful atmosphere in my own home, grew into a passion for crafting eco-friendly, simple, handmade candles that would compliment any space. After almost two years of researching and rigorous testing, i began sharing with family and friends who's encouragement inspired me to embark on a new and exciting business venture.

While kids are older, and we are in a new season of life with a different kind of busyness, my evenings are still welcomed with creating a space to unwind, reflect, and savor a little stillness amidst the beautiful chaos of life.
